  • August 2002 – July 2005 Selected for the prestigious 3-year postdoctoral training program in Surgical Gastroenterology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi under Prof. S. Nundy. This program is affiliated to the National Medical Board of India.
  • I have undergone training at a high volume center known for excellence in the field of Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic Surgery and Liver Transplant in India.
  • April-2005 I did training in the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi under the able guidance of Prof T.K. Chattopadhyay. This center is known for its excellence in all aspects of Surgical Gastroenterology and especially Portal Hypertension Surgery.
  • December 2005 – May 2006 I was part of the prestigious Max HealthCare family as a consultant G.I. surgeon at Max Hospital, Pitampura. This is a tertiary care hospital with its branches in all corners of Delhi.
  • June 2006 – to August 2007 I worked as a Consultant in Hepato Biliary Pancreatic and Liver Transplant Surgery Unit at St Stephens Hospital, Tis Hazari, New Delhi, with a professor Prakash Khanduri as Head. I independently performed all aspects of Gastrointestinal, Hepato Biliary and Pancreatic surgery both Laparoscopic as well as Open. Our unit actively pursued the Cadaveric Organ Transplant program and was involved in promoting cadaveric organ donation as such.
  • August 2007 – to date I am working as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Liver Transplant and Surgical Gastroenterology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Delhi with Dr. Subash Gupta. I have been performing all complex hepatobiliary, pancreatic and gastrointestinal surgeries.
